Adventurous Families Survey
Inspiring families to live adventurously, promoting independent family adventure

The Adventurous Families Online Survey
Take the survey! or read on for more details

If you've some first-hand experience of family adventure, you can help us with our research.

It doesn't matter whether you're new to it or been at it for years, we're interested to hear about your views and experience. And it's easy to contribute via our online survey, securely hosted by SurveyMonkey.com.

The survey will help us find out:

  • who's doing what when it comes to family adventure
  • why people do it
  • what they get from it
  • what they think it's all about

We hope doing the survey will stir up fond memories of your adventures and get you thinking about how and why you do it. Completing it as a family is an interesting way of reviewing past journeys, hearing each others views on them, maybe inspiring another trip.

It takes between half an hour and an hour to complete, depending on how detailed your responses are. There's a short route through if you're short of time and a long way round for survey junkies or those with a lot to tell us. For your convenience, you can fill it out in several stages if you wish; the site will remember where you got to if you leave and return later.

The data you provide will be held securely and your privacy is assured. You don't need to provide any information you are not comfortable with. You can respond anonymously if you wish. Read our small print for further details on privacy, security and how we will use the information you provide.

We'll be publishing results and findings here on the project web site. Rest assured, we will not disclose any names or personal details without your prior consent.

If you have any queries about the survey or the findings please do get in touch.
We hope you will help us and take the survey!
