Inspiring families to live adventurously,
promoting independent family adventure

One of the ways The Family Adventure
Project aims to inspire families to adventure together is through
stories, the original human way of passing on knowledge, wisdom
and experience. We can't think of a better way.
What we aim to offer here is a collection
of stories which have something to say about adventuring together
as a family. We're not talking travel journals, detailed itineraries
or lengthy accounts of encounters with people or places. There's
plenty of those around already.
Our aim is to provide easy access to real-life
stories that will help you learn how others adventure together,
discover what families get from it, get a sense of what's possible
and ideas for places you could go. We hope what you read will make
you laugh and cry and illustrate the up's, down's, dramas and delights
of family life on the road.
If you know of something you think we
could feature or would like to contribute something to the site,
then get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
